How do I create an account?

Click "Sell a Bike" or any listing to get started. You can sign up with your email. Verification (email, phone, ID) unlocks full features and the Verified Seller badge.

How do I list a motorcycle or parts?

Go to Sell a Bike, choose Motorcycle or Parts & Gear, add photos, details (title, price, location), and publish. Listings go live after a quick review.

How does messaging work?

Click "Message Seller" on any listing to start a conversation. Messages are real-time and tied to that listing. Keep all communication on MOTERA for safety and records.

What payment methods are accepted?

MOTERA connects buyers and sellers—payment is agreed between you. We recommend cash at pickup for local sales, or our secure escrow for shipped bikes. Never pay via wire transfer or gift cards before seeing the bike.

How does buyer protection work?

For eligible transactions using MOTERA's secure payment, we offer protection against fraud and misrepresentation. See our Terms for full details.

How do I report a listing or user?

Use the "Report" option on any listing or in a message thread. You can also email report@motora.com. We review reports promptly and take action when needed.

How do I remove or edit my listing?

Go to Dashboard → My Listings, then click Edit or remove the listing. Edits may require re-review before going live again.

Help us keep MOTERA safe. Report suspicious listings, fraudulent activity, harassment, or policy violations.

What to Report

  • Fraudulent or misleading listings — Fake photos, wrong descriptions, scam pricing
  • Suspicious or stolen goods — Missing VIN/title, suspicious ownership
  • Harassment or abuse — Inappropriate messages, threats, spam
  • Off-platform requests — Someone pushing you to pay or communicate outside MOTERA
  • Policy violations — Prohibited items, illegal modifications

From a listing: Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Report listing

From a message: Open the conversation → Report user

What Happens Next

We review reports within 24–48 hours. Serious issues (fraud, safety) are prioritized. You may receive a follow-up if we need more information. We don't share reporter details with the reported party.
